CULTIVATE BALANCE | CREATE HARMONY
Tantra / Hatha
Tantra in its traditional form is a holistic life-culture, concerned with cultivating the integrated being, mind, body, spirit.
Hatha yoga evolved from the Tantric tradition refining aspects of the practice.
Authentic Tantra and Hatha yoga is inclusive and accessible to all levels of ability
from beginners to advanced.
This yoga incorporates asana (posture), meditation, mudras & bandhas, pranayama (breath & energetic control), movement and philosophy uniting both the mental and physical aspects of ourselves.
Consciously cultivating our own wellbeing not only enhances our individual, inner life but also filters through to influence our outer environment in a positive way, creating a more harmonious world.
The Tantric system profoundly enhanced my yoga. From practising Tantra, my recurring injuries from previous work/life habits healed due the unique perspective whereby I learned to relax, let go, spend longer time in a posture, consequently enjoying yoga more.
I see Tantric yoga as an antidote to our
ultra-competitive, modern world.
My own yogic journey positively transformed my life and I was fortunate to have taught Hatha, Vinyasa (flow) yoga, and meditation abroad. It was an honour to teach others and watch their life perspective evolve and wellbeing improve.
Core Tantric yoga is intuitive, gentle, non-competitive & meditative.
The distinct emphasis on relaxation enables the person to experience yoga at a deeper level, becoming more flexible in the process.
Tantra/Hatha yoga is beneficial for both beginners and people of more advanced yogic abilities from any age group. You don't have to be super flexible or athletic to do it. You just need an open mind and willingness to participate and you will benefit.
If you are a busy office-worker, tradesperson, mum, dad, student, retiree or just someone looking for a healthy life-culture, if you are seeking to de-stress, improve your physical and mental health by stretching, strengthening, breathing and meditating then this practice will suit you.
